Internet Ready

Well, I told you I'd be online eventually. Thanks to wi-fi technology the iMac that's been collecting dust in my room is once more internet capable. Hooked it up with a usb adapter because it would be too much of a pain to run a cable connection into my room. Ah, I may never have to willing deal with a pc ever again. Ahhhhh...yes.
And I totally learned my lesson in regards to illegal downloading. Even deleted Bittorrent off the hard drive. See: Completely reformed. I won't even download Limewire, no fucking way. I do worry how I'll upload music onto iTunes. Both my usb ports are occupied with the adapter and keyboard. Would I be able to disconnect the adapter without re-configuring my network settings? Hmm...maybe I should just wait until I get a Hub to just be sure, though I'm sure it'll be fine. Despite a few hiccups, it was very easy to get everything online. The only tricky part was getting the Mac off wanting to use the internal modem over the wi-fi.
Ugh, tech babble and I'm not even all that technologically competent. XD
Anyway, so yay! I hate to admit it, but I really do need internet access in order to feel completely content and useful. I can't imagine what it must be like for the Generation that followed mine. I grew up with computers, but y'all don't even remember a time where the internet wasn't around....
