That's awesome, books that claim to be radical and questioning of society and yet they do nothing but fall into all the usual traps of a binary system. Sure, Freud was important in that he established psychology as something to approach scientifically, but that doesn't mean still holding onto his exact ideas is very smart. Development in the understanding of the subject, hello. Also I pretty much agree with your reservations about feminism - equality isn't a one-way street and this "reverse stereotyping" isn't fun. It shouldn't be so hard to understand.
